Quand Céline Dion a commencé sa série de spectacle à Las Vegas, j'ai réservé 4 billets pour aller l'entendre au Ceasar Palace la première année, car j'étais certaine qu'elle ne tiendrait pas le coup pendant 5 ans. Et bien je me suis trompée, elle finira son contrat en décembre prochain. Comment ne pas être fière de cette grande dame qui nous représente partout sur la planète.

Elle lance son nouvel album "Taking Chances" et elle mentionne que c'est une histoire de fou. Qu'elle s'est lachée lousse et que ça lui a fait du bien. Sa chanson favorite sur son nouvel album est "That's just the woman in me" une chanson qu'elle chante avec une voix nous rappelant celle de Janis Joplin.
Elle donnera 2 spectables à Montréal les 15 et 16 août 2008, si je réussis à avoir des billets, je serai là.
Elle mentionne aussi qu'une simple sortie au restaurant (très banale pour le commun des mortels) devient pour elle un cauchemar. Elle doit partir avec un bodyguard, un chauffeur, tous les gens la regardent, sans compter les paparazzis, alors au bout du compte, elle se décourage et préfère rester chez elle.
Un film en vue, la vie de Maria Callas
Il semblerait qu'elle se prépare à jouer le rôle de la grande Maria Callas, dans un film produit par Denise Robert. Elle rêve d'une carrière d'actrice et Denise Filiatrault devrait être celle qui la préparera à jouer ce rôle, rien de moins!
J'ai eu la chance d'assister à plusieurs spectacles de Céline Dion, entre autre celui de l'an 2000 au Centre Bell, un spectacle inoubliable (j'ai encore la bouteille de mousseux à son effigie que je n'ai d'ailleurs pas encore ouverte). Par contre, le spectable que je n'oublierai jamais est celui qu'elle a donné en privé au restaurant "Le Rustik" à Châteauguay ou j'ai eu la chance de la rencontrer dans sa loge. J'ai pu constater par moi-même qu'elle était une femme très simple, humaine, gentille et très généreuse envers ses fans.
J'admire Céline Dion car elle a réussi une carrière phénoménale et qu'elle a su rester terre à terre. Elle apprécie les moindres petits moments de la vie, de la banalité aux grands événements. Je crois que plusieurs grandes stars auraient à prendre exemple sur Céline Dion, la petite fille de Charlemagne. LA GRANDE STAR!
